Pestle and Mortar Review

Pestle and Mortar Review

Good Morning Everyone!

Today’s blog post is a review on Pestle and Mortar Skincare Products   which I have been using the last couple of weeks I have been showing them off on my Snapchat so if you follow me there you would have seen it, I am a sucker for trying out new skincare products that are on the market so I was excited to try out these products.

I purchased the Pestle and Mortar Hydrate Moisturiser & Pestle and Mortar Pure Hyaluronic Serum as I wanted to try them out for myself as I knew that they are new on the market, anyway the hydrate moisturiser is lightweight and it certainly doesn’t feel thick on the skin which I love I do not like applying moisturiser’s that have that thick consistency and feel heavy on the skin I do prefer a lightweight consistency that is the first thing that I was drawn to on the product and the overall look of the products is minimal which I love too.

So it is also free from parabens which is another added bonus as paraben’s are basically formed from acid & alcohol preservatives which can be harmful on the skin in the long run so this product is paraben free! It is also free from sulphates, silicones, synthetic fragrance & mineral oils so it highly suited for all skin types, it also helps to stimulate collagen, restores skin firmness and elasticity. I find that when I apply the product it dries into my skin quite quickly which is good I also have been applying this in the morning & at night for the last couple of weeks and when I wake up in the morning I feel that my skin is much more softer and even skin tone.

The next product is the Hyaluronic serum which I also have been using day and night this is by far my favorite product as it soothes the skin even the most sensitive skin my face has been acting up the last while due to hormones so it was quite sensitive to a lot of skincare products but I found using this really did help with my skin feeling so soft & radiant. The serum is a lightweight fragrance free and literally soaks into my skin quite quickly and leaves it feeling so soft and smooth to touch, if you also feel that your skin is dull & dehydrated then I would suggest this product as it gives your skin a gorgeous glow and radiance which it has done for me.

The Hyaluronic serum is also free from paraben’s, fragrance free and not tested on animal’s. I also do some research into a product before I purchase and when I had seen the product is not tested on animals It was another added bonus that had drawn more into the product. The products can be used on their own or together.

Pestle and Mortar are a family run buisness and they have Stockists in Ireland, Uk, Belgium, America, Spain, The Netherlands, Asia & Jersey! These products which I have reviewed today are available to purchase here Hydrate Moisturiser  which retails for €48 & Hyaluronic Serum which retails for €43 but they are worth every penny you only use a pea size amount and they will last months. Pestle and Mortar also have another intriguing product called Superstar- Retinol Night Oil which I am excited to try this next!

Hope you enjoyed this Review!

Love this post, I’ve been curious about Pestle & Mortar for quite some time. The moisturizer seems like it would work well with my oily skin 🙂
