I don’t know about you guys but I am starting to feel the cold weather slowly starting to creep in and you know what that means Autumn months are coming! so its time for scarf’s, winter coats and jumpers which I love, however our skin will change in texture and appearance due to the cold weather & I know from my own experiences that my skin goes dull and tempermental.
I am going to go through 3 steps what I use during autumn, winter months for my skincare routine.
1. Cleanse the face to be sure all my make-up is removed and my skin is totally refreshed and make-up free so for this I would always use La Roche- Posay Effaclar Cleansing Gel so this gently purifies the skin, eliminating impurities and excess sebum,as I have combination skin I would have oils in my T-zone area especially in summer months it would get quite bad, this cleansing gel also contains thermal spring water which is good for skin because it is soothing on the skin and its also an anti-irration properties.
2. Ok so after we have cleansed the skin throughly, I follow onto the La Roche-Posay Serozinc Toner which is great for oily, blemish prone-skin as I have combination skin I find this exceptionally good for a toner as it mattifies the skin & skin looks less shiny and greasy. I apply this by spraying onto the face and I let it absorb into the face, I then pat away any excess using a clean tissue or cotton pad. I would highly recommend this product if you are oily or have problematic skin as its non-perfumed & hypoallergenic.
3. So for Moisturizer I always use the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Mat which I love so much and its also great for a makeup base if you have oily skin or even sensitive skin this really good for, it hydrates & dries matte on the skin so once again does not leave your skin shiny. This also has thermal spring water to soothe & soften the skin.
